The badge for each year at the top of your profile stats? I've never taken much notice of it before, I noticed on New Years Day I had diamond, now I have emerald..... Is there anywhere explaining how it is calculated??

Cheers

You are awarded points for using Project-GC in different ways, and from that we are creating a top list. Depending on your placement on the top list in the end of the year, you are rewarded a PGC-badge.

The system is still under development there is a high risk that we will change the formulas, which will then affect the order in the top list as well. Once the year has ended and the year badges has been awarded, they will not change.

A few examples of what rewards points:

The data is updated on a daily basis.

Go to http://project-gc.com/Home/PGCPoints to learn about the different badges.

Hope this answers your question.

If you click on it you will get more information. I don't think the exact formula is public.

The "score" resets on new years, which means that everyone will have roughly the same score on new years day, and the rankings will change rapidly in the next few days as some people gain more points.
