Something wrong with the counting of visits to my caches? (1 reply)

I discovered a shot time ago that I could find the number of visitors to my caches on Cache Owner Dashboard

As expected there were som misfit, simply because the Project-GC needs some time to update the number.

But I started to follow these numbers , and there seem to be a certain misfit that is slowly growing, and the misfit seems to be completely independent of if I have had 50 visits on a day, or if it was a day with hardly any visits.

At the moment Cache Owner Dashboard claims 52555 visits, whereas the very recent update on "Hides" on Project-PC gives me 52527, a difference of 28. There were close to 40 visits today, the last one was 4-5 hours before the update.

I would not have been to worried about this alone, there may be some delay somewhere. But the difference seems to be slowly increasing, and it was also in the 20'ies a few days ago, when bad weather gave few visits on my caches.

So is this real difference, or something that will "heal itself" with a bit of patience?

Hello!
I honestly have no idea how this process works and if i am submitting in the right area. I wanted to create a challenge cache in the adirondack mountains these are the cache requirements and what i would need for a checker! if anyone would be able to help out at all i would be very greatfull! thank you!!

I'd like a checker for a challenge cache with the following requirements:

- Find at least one geocache in each of these New York counties:
Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Herkimer, Lewis, Oneida,
St. Lawrence, Saratoga, Warren, and Washington.

- Find at least one Mystery/Puzzle Cache.
- Find at least one Multi-Cache.
- Find at least one Letterbox Hybrid.
- Find at least one Virtual Cache.

A cacher must meet all of the above requirements to qualify.

Thank you for your help!

The '360 from home' tool offers a neat challenge. Dropping the 'Number Finds per Sector' over the map is a great way to identify which sectors are short caches for a given goal. Then by clicking on a sector that is short, one can see which caches will help to boost the number of finds in that sector to meet the goal. BUT, making a list is challenging because each cache needs to be copied individually to a list on my page. Could the 'list' tab be used to capture the caches needed in each sector? And could that list be downloaded?

I realize the forums are experimental, but an actual question/recommendation: Why doesn't the base functionality of project-gc match the base functionality of the geocaching site? I completely understand charging a premium for premium services, and think there are real benefits to premium project-gc status. But the basic statistics lag what geocaching offers, specifically around adventure lab caches. Maybe I'm in the minority, but it feels like a premium service shouldn't charge for what is already free, all of the bonuses that come from membership are well worth the price and should be behind a paywall, but matching groundspeak's basic level of stats should be a given, if not a mundane level of equivalence (they have always lagged third party offerings, even free offerings).
