this challenge requires finding at least one virtual cache in 15 different states. I currently have 14 but it says I qualify because it is only checking for 10 states.

We didn't create that checker. It was cloned by the CO and that's the config they opted to use. So you can't blame us for the bad results. We'll happily create a correct checker if requested by the CO.
