[Cancelled] GC6KR26 10 degrees in Alberta

Hi, I was hoping someone could do a challenge checker for me which would require at least one find for every longitude degree in Alberta so therefore you would need one find with a westing of between W 110 00.000 and W 110 59.999, at least one find with a westing of between W 111 00.000 and W 111 59.999, etc. up to one find between W 119 00.000 and W 119 59.999. If possible, the latitudes on the finds should be restricted to between N 49 00.000 and N 59 59.999 and that way most of the finds would have to be within the province of Alberta. If the latitude restriction can't be coded into the checker then just the longitude restriction would be fine. Thanks in advance!!

The challenge is possible to code, however it probably violates rule 10 (http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206#criteria), not allowed: Challenges based on user-defined mapping polygons.

It may be worth checking with your local reviewer as they may interpret the rules differently.
It may also be possible to redefine the challenge using county polygons as an approximation for the requirements - though it looks like some of your counties are very large so may not work nicely for that.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I talked to my local reviewer and she said it would be OK to do this challenge using counties/municipal districts in Alberta so what I have decided to do is to arrange the municipal districts into 10 different groups and to qualify for this challenge a cacher would have to find at least one cache in each of the 10 different groups. I know you have the ability to determine finds in counties in the United States but I’m not sure if that it is broken down the same way in Canada (specifically Alberta). If it is possible, then the following is a list of the 10 different groups of municipal districts in Alberta:

1. MD of Bonnyville No. 87, County of Vermilion River, MD of Wainwright No. 61, MD of Provost No. 52, MD of Acadia No. 34 and Cypress County
2. County of St. Paul No. 19, County of Forty Mile No. 8 and Lac La Biche County
3. County of Two Hills No. 21, County of Minburn No. 27, Flagstaff County, County of Paintearth No. 18, County of Newell, MD of Taber and County of Warner No. 5
