Hi,

I'd like to place a challenge cache that requires you to have found a cache in each degree of the 360 degrees in a circle around the Pikes Peak summit benchmark (N 38° 50.426 W 105° 02.635).

I'm not sure if I qualify to place it - will only know once a checker has been made!

Unfortunately since the introduction in 2016 of the challenge guidelines this type of challenge is no longer allowed.
Sectors are geographic areas other than country/state/county.

Would it be acceptable to do 360 degrees (around Pikes Peak) within the state of Colorado?

No, the triangles/wedges from the starting point with an angle of 1 degree are the geographic areas which are not allowed. No 360 degree challenges are allowed any more (except grandfathered ones).
