Re: Checker request GC8KZV9 Incomplete Jasmer - 16 years

I'd like a checker for 16 completed years on the jasmer grid. Doesn't matter which years as long as they include all 12 months of the year (or 8 for yr 2000). I qualify with 2002-2017 filled but my last needed cache for 12/2004 was found today and Project GC hasn't updated yet. Otherwise I do qualify. Thank you!

Sorry, I'm new to this. Year 2020 can't count until December. The qualifying cacher will need all 12 months each year, the only exception is 2000. Does the current, partial year count with how this checker is set up right now? If it does can that be altered? If it doesn't then we're all good.

I couldn't check this because I currently don't have a cache hidden in February. Thank you!

I've come up with a solution to that problem (partial current year shouldn't count as one of the 16). Will revert once I get an answer from the script maintainer.

Is there anyway to update this checker to not include an end date? Currently the checker stops at 2020 but should run through Dec 31st of whatever the current year is. Thank you!

I never received a response from the script writer, so the checker still has an issue that it could count the current year as complete even though we're still mid year. I bypassed this issue by providing a fixed point at the end of the year instead of the current date/month (which I've now changed to 2022-12-31). However, this means the checker will have to be updated each year to move the endpoint of the jasmer check to the end of the new year. I could also arbitrarily extend it to 2030-12-31 or some other distant date in the future. But ideally the script writer should simply apply the patch I provided back then to make it work correctly.
