Request a Challenge Checker for our new GC6WF9X "MaxB's 730 US Counties Challenge". The Challenge Requires finding caches in 730 different US Counties.

Out put should be how many different US counties that caches were found in. All Cache types count (Except Locationless)

Not sure why, but the majority of the cachers I tested got a different number of counties between the Checker output and the number of counties shown on their project-GC US county map. Several of these I know are not in new places today where there is possibility of delayed statistics. The Checker output is from 1 to 12 counties higher that the project GC profile county map.

I think a while back on another checker (Maybe the all Multi State County Challenge), there were too many counties showing up in some states. Seems like the issue was something like caches which were shown for a state, but actually not in a specified county. We have seen odd things near state lines where CO lists cache in the state, but coordinates were really in adjacent state.

The problem I have noticed before. This script, what sloth96 used, has only one other tag and when I tested it in the Netherlands it counted caches out at sea, with no county mentioned on the cache page, as a county.

It's better to exclude all countyless caches from the checkers by using the Easy Tagging Script

It is nice having options.

This seems to have resolved the issues we were seeing. Thanks to sloth96 and vogelbird for getting the checker figured out.
