GC94QX0 20 Years of Caching in Tasmania – Challenge (draft)

In 2021 Tasmania (state in Australia) celebrates 20 years of caching. The first cache in the state, GC388 North Tassie, was placed on 25 February 2001 We would like to publish a challenge cache to celebrate this anniversary.

This challenge requires the cacher to have found at least one cache hidden in Tasmania in each of the years from 2001 to 2020 inclusive. The 20 qualifying caches can be found at any time with finds made prior to the publication of this challenge eligible for inclusion.

We would be very appreciative of the development of a challenge checker for this challenge, our first attempt at a Challenge Cache.

This is a new challenge, not a grand-fathered challenge.

We meet the requirements for our proposed challenge as detailed below. The headings are
• Year of hiding
• Number of current active caches in the particular year
• GC Code of the cache we found in the particular year
• Cache Name
• Date cache was hidden (dd/mm/yy)
• Date we found the cache (dd/mm/yy)

We are aware of at least 10 other cachers who would meet the requirements for this challenge.
There are sufficient active caches in each of the 20 years (see above list) to enable anyone who does not yet qualify to do so if they so choose.

Thank you so much for your prompt action and response. Greatly appreciated.

The checker works very well. I gave just built it into the draft cache description page and all works from there as well.

What I thought would be a complicated process was so straightforward, at least from my end.

I will now submit the cache to the reviewer.

Thank you both so much for responding to our request and responding so quickly. We were expecting to have to wait for some time.

As soon as

came, we tested it and then built it in our cache description. We then submitted the cache to the Reviewer using the 57748 checker.

We have just seen the 57749 checker and hence, have not used that one.
