[Resolved] Challenge checker for GC9BKKC

Hi
I'm requesting a checker for finding 80% of the top 30 Traditional caches (based on wilson score) in Essen (Germany / Nordrhein-Westfalen). Owned caches shall count as found.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
thanks for the quick response and the checker. In general the result looks good. But I have a question regarding the calculation. For my account the checker says "You have found 21 caches from the top 28 of the needed 23".
80% of 30 is 24. I have two owned caches which are in the top30 So 24 minus 2 is 22.
So for my case I would expect to need 22 additional found caches.
For someone who has no owned cache under the top 30, the required found number would be 24.
thanks in advance.

I will ask the scriptwriter to have a look at this because if you own two of the top 30 caches the script gives you credit for 2 but then takes 80 % of the remaining top 28. This means because of the rounding up still 23 to go.

Vogelbird is spot on. The math is as he says.

So 28*0.8=22.4 rounded up to 23.

Interesting challenge idea. I have some genuine questions.
1. Is this allowable if there are archived caches in the top 30 list? Newer players cannot go find these caches now, making the effective percentage require to be found higher.
2. Does this clash with the "all or percentage of caches" challenge rule (rule 12)?
Thanks

Archived caches are always excluded in the challenge

2. Does this clash with the "all or percentage of caches" challenge rule (rule 12)?

No, it does not clash with rule 12 because favorite_points_wilson have nothing to do with ratio caching.
It is simply a way of measuring fovorite points
