[Resolved] New Checker Request - GC95R3E

Can I get a checker built for a challenge to find the oldest cache in a state for 8 or more states (including Washington DC)?

You probably know these "exceptions" better than I do, but Ohio and Montana seems to have some disagreement. I'd like to count either geocache in these cases since it is not clear cut.

- In Ohio, there are 2 caches that are considered the oldest because for one of them (ancient lake) the listed hidden date indicates that the cache was hidden a year before it was published on geocaching.com, while Shawnee Lookout clearly has the earlier GC code. (GC2DBE vs. GC31A)
- And in Montana there are two oldest caches – both hidden and listed by the same cacher at the same time. (GC492 vs GC493)

As requested, I read this previous discussion thread.

If I understand it correctly, the Shawnee Lookout will be considered the oldest in Ohio. That was my preference anyway, I was just trying to avoid any complaints. I am fine with no exceptions.

Does that mean you can build me a checker requiring 8+ "oldest state finds"?

Well, there does seem to be one problem, but maybe I am misunderstanding the discussion thread you referred me to previously.

Groundspeak and the Ohio Volunteer Community Reviewers seem to all agree Shawnee Lookout Cache (GC31A) is the oldest in Ohio. The article confirmed the oldest is Shawnee Lookout (GC31A), and I have found that one on 5/27/2018. It does not show up on my Checker results though. I should have 9 total qualifying finds, but the checker only pulls 8.

What cache does your checker consider the oldest in Ohio? Are you saying the checker is limited to the oldest hide date and will treat Ancient Lake as the oldest?
