Please write a challenge checker for it GC9M8W5

To qualify for this challenge, at least 1% of your total caches must be Lab Caches.

Thank you

Sorry but your challenge criteria violates two rules

Please read the guidelines 2.12.10. Source of Criteria and 2.12.12. All or Percentage of caches

Not acceptable
Quote
Trackable, Benchmarking, Waymarking logs, or specifying Lab Cache finds.
and
Quote
Finding all or any percentage of the caches, or of a cache type, rating, or other allowable value within a specified area.

To qualify for this challenge cache you must find 11 geocaches on the 11th day of the 11th month, November 11th.

This is also not allowed

Please read 2.12.9. Time-Limited

Not acceptable

Requiring more than one find on any day or calendar date, even if cumulative.

This is getting embarrassing I'm just not reading the criteria correctly
This is the criteria:
Finding some number of caches per month, provided the number is cumulative over all years. Example: 100 finds in Januarys.

This is what I would like you to write a Geochecker
Finding 11 caches per month for 11 months of the year

I'm not quite understanding excluding lab caches because I wrote an icocheckern challenge and the reviewer added lab caches. But however you interpreted is what I will follow

From your responses to clarify I should write this on the GC page

... ncludes physical, virtual and event caches but not lab caches.

This is why I'm having trouble understanding about counting the lab gc I left lab caches off of my checker request for this geocache and reviewer added them the reason being they're going to be included at some point and that was almost a year ago, it doesn't really make a difference and just want you to understand why I'm slightly confused

I can understand your confusion.
Lab caches are treated differently than the other caches and are not in the API but added separately.

In your geocaching.com statistics Lab caches are in your finds like:
- Total Finds
- Finds Per Month
- Cumulative Finds Per Month
- Yearly Breakdown
- Finds for Each Day of the Year
- Cache Types

But not in the other statistics, because the information is not available like
- Container Types
- Difficulty and Terrain
- Placement date
- Location
etc...

The guidelines tell you not to specify Lab caches but should be include in those items where they are included in your statistics.

There is however a complecation with the checker scripts that in a lot of the old scripts, which are not maintained by the scriptwriters, the separate addon of the lab caches is not written into the script.

The checker for GC972WA is a good example. You are using a script which does not recognise Lab caches

Thank you for explaining that slow clearly I am going to post that information on the geocaching Arizona Facebook page. I know other people are having difficulty parsing out when and when not to include lab caches this will help a lot.

I hope my new checker request meets the requirements

Please write a checker for:

Finding 11 caches per month for 11 months of the year

This will include physical, virtual and event caches but not lab caches.

By virtual I mean virtual caches, Earth caches, anything that doesn't have a physical container if there is a better word for this please let me know.
