[Resolved] Requesting a checker for GCAQ29V

[Resolved] Requesting a checker for GCAQ29V

Hi again. Could I please get a checker built for GCAQ29V next? It requires cachers to find a cache on all 365 days of the year in the same municipality/county. Again the finds do not have to be sequential in any way so a consecutive day streak is not required for this challenge.

I've found a pre-existing similar challenge already https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC954GD/57991 which my checker could possibly be cloned from. However I'm not sure how that challenge handles Feb 29 and I would like Leap Day to be an optional, not mandatory day in my challenge. All the other 365 days must be filled for my challenge.

Is it safe to assume the checker is based on posted coordinates only? I'm just wondering how/if it could handle mysteries or multis where the posted coordinates are in one county and the final is in a different one. I realize that's probably a rarity but I just wanted to make sure I knew how the checker would deal with them.

Could it also be confirmed that the checker can handle all municipalities and counties across all countries in the world? I just want to make sure there's no surprises later.

All cache types, except for benchmarks, adventure labs, and locationless caches, can be used for my challenge.

I also noticed if you fail the challenge, it shows you the grid for your "closest to finish" municipality/county. Is there any way to show multiple closest to finishing grids (perhaps at least 2)? I just tested one profile and it shows their "old' municipality (where they no longer live) so they have no idea which days they need for the current location.

Here's the same verbiage from my other recent checker request that should also apply for this one -
As well, your own caches can not be used in this challenge. In the past you were able to log your own caches.

And in the past, it was also possible to log the same cache multiple times. Those caches can only be used once for my challenge, only on the first day it was found.

Hopefully that covers everything. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns or if there are any other potential problems out there that I've missed for this challenge.

Thank you again. :-)

Here is the link to a checker https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAQ29V/90656

This is the clickable script with Febr. 29 excluded but it can't give you 2 counties

Please test and reply

Sorry for taking so long to reply.

The PGC checker results weren't matching my GSAK data but I finally figured out why so I'm good now. (PGC's "district" covers multiple municipalities for my locality.)

I'm disappointed by the 2 county thing but I understand. Those cachers will just have to figure out what they're missing another way then.

As long as the other criteria are in the checker, then I'm good with it. Please close this request as resolved.

Thank you again.

Just FYI, an easy way to help people figure this out is the "Needed Found Dates"-tool with the location filter. It's for users with paid membership only, but if you know that you live in "Kings County, Washington" you can easily search there to see which dates you're missing even if your best county is somewhere else on the planet.

I find it good to know the answer as a CO as some cachers will ask you how they should figure it out.
