Is this a new guideline? I already have one TB challenge cache published and have seen many others as well.

If you own/know of trackable-related Challenge Caches that have already been published, there are two possible scenarios.

• It was published before the Challenge Cache moratorium, in which case the cache is "grandfathered".
• It was probably published because of a mistake on the reviewer's part; in which case it is likely to be retroactively unpublished by HQ.

Trackables have not been allowed as challenge criteria since at least 2016 when the post-moratorium challenge cache standards were published.

I do not see any cache hides under your account with the word "challenge" in the title, so I could not research your existing challenge cache which you say is based on trackable logs.

The challenge that ScoutrP is referring to is GC81321. It looks like the challenge is to "move/discover at least 100 trackable items". I'm not 100% sure about retroactive unpublishing, but it's definitely an illegal challenge.

Folks. I submitted the challenge in good faith. I was not aware that this type of challenge cache was not permitted. I had seen a number of them during a trip last year so thought it would be a good idea to copy one for our caching community. It’s a good cache in a good location. Going forward I’ll develop different challenges.

There are currently just 3 challenge caches in our area and I own all of them. I’d like to develop more as they can be a fantastic addition to our cache variety here. Our caching community is relatively small so anything new that can help grow this game is a good thing. I’m really hoping that others will develop some challenge caches of their own.
