[Resolved] Complicated Fizzy checker request

Hi

I would like a modified clone of https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC7C42P/28657 please

In order to qualify for this Challenge, you must fill in your DT grid by using each of the following 9 times:
Virtual Cache
Event Cache
Wherigo Cache
Letterbox Cache
Earth Cache
Multi Cache
Unknown Cache
Traditional Cache
Any Cache type with more than 100 favorite points

The differrence is the number of FPs required for the 9th step. I want 100 rather than 500 please.
This way hopefully I will get enough local qualifiers.

CG code is GC81ZHZ

Thanks

Bill

Hi again,
The checker was great. I submitted it but got knocked back and told to change the challenge.
It seems the reviewers have decided that I cant use events for a DT challenge.
So I need a major change.
If possible can we try it again with these 9 items please?
Trad
Multi
Unknown
Wherigo
Letterbox
Micro size
Small size
Reg size
Large size

These are all physical finds with a container so that is the common feature.
Happy to discuss.

Thanks.

Bill

I will have a look at it, not sure the script will accommodate it

The script I used doesn't support it, so it is likely to require a different script with a complicated configuration.... or even a new script.

Any opinions anyone ?

Here is a checker for you to test:

https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC81ZHZ/39898

It seems to work properly for types. The output for sizes looks reasonable, but you may want to independently verify the results to make sure that there are no bugs.

I couldn't figure out a good way to assign images to sizes, so they all use the traditional cache image at the moment (I am open to suggestions on this part). In any case, the example log output makes it clear which caches are which, so this shouldn't be too big of a problem.

Hi Oneforfortytwo,

Brilliant work thanks. Obviously a lot of effort went into that. Much appreciated.
Re the sizes. I wonder if four icons based on the first letters would work? M S R L
The other thought I had was to use the string of four different sized squares with 3 greyed and one Highlighted. Both of these would need the new icons to be created.
Would either of these work?

Thanks again

On second thoughts the small bold letters might be best.

The checker has been updated to use small bold letters. Please test it and let me know if you have any more suggestions.

Thanks again Oneforfortytwo. That output looks great. :)

One other suggestion, only if it is easy, would be the order of the 9 single grids.
Could they perhaps be put in the order that they are in the 9 combo grid?
Trad, multi, unknown, wherigo, letterbox, micro, small, regular, large.

Finally can the icons be centrally justified in each square rather than low left justified? Again only if easy to do.

Thanks again for all your efforts.

Cheers
