Re: Checker request for GC83TA7 Changes in Latitude Challenge: 125 Degrees

[Resolved] Checker request for GC83TA7 Changes in Latitude Challenge: 125 Degrees
February 21, 2019 12:17AM
I am requesting a challenge checker for my new unpublished challenge cache GC83TA7 Changes in Latitude Challenge: 125 Degrees.
This challenge is very similar to https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC55FAK/8470 but for 125 degrees instead of 100 and with an output text of "I fulfilled this challenge with a latitude difference on my finds of ..." (then the same text as the checker above)

I fulfill the challenge myself per the checker above:
"I did it with a latitude diffrerence on my finds of 129 and I needed only 100
N64 GC2570M flunkyball stadium
S64 GC4TM62 Base-A Port Lockroy"

Please and thank you.

The calculations are correct, but can the output text wording be changed to the following (edited parts underlined):

if(ok == true) then
table.insert(log, "I completed this challenge with a "..dkey.." difference on my finds of "..maxdiff[1].." and I needed only "..conf.limit)
else

table.insert(log, "I did not make it. My "..dkey.." difference on my finds is only "..maxdiff[1].." and I needed "..conf.limit)
table.insert(log,"My best result is:")
end

OK, I am not sure of the etiquette about this... and I don't want to annoy the checker community any further.

It seems your only complaint is the language, please be aware that many script writers do not have English as their first language.... the first checker got the job done, didn't it?

So, with that in mind, here is the link to the 'new' checker. The moderators may well ask me to delete it, and I would personally understand the reasons.
