Cachefounds in minimum 10 countries, 1 country with one cachetype, another with two.... up to 10 (all cachetpes are allowed.

just „real/official“ countries shoult count, but we have seen that „Aland Islands“, „ Jersey“ or „Guernsey„ in the fullfill-lists. Please can you change that.

@pieterix - can you look into this

How do you define "real/official" countries? The script is finding everything that is deemed a country on Project-GC. I could easily extend it to exclude some countries though. I just need a list of what to exclude (or what to include).

Either way, here's an updated checker with the 3 listed countries excluded (and it can be extended further once I have a list of countries to either be included or excluded):

Please update your cache listing to use this new checker so I can disable the old checker (I can't edit the code on the old script).

Now the the countries are deleted, but they are still part of an country, so please count the regions in the following kind if possible:

"Aland Islands", to Finland
„Faroe Islands“ to Denmark
"Gibraltar", to United Kingdom
"Guernsey“ to United Kingdom
"Isle of Man“ United Kingdom
"Jersey", United Kingdom
"Svalbard and Jan Mayen Islands" Norway

Excluding (or including) a country is one thing and normally quite simple. But mapping one country to another country will not be easy to do. Code will have to be changed/added to various scripts maintained by different script authors, once we understand what it is you're trying to accomplish. It appears you want to map those countries to be regions in other countries?

Just to make it more difficult.
Why do take the UK oversees area's partly out but what about the French, Dutch and Portuguese overseas area's.
What about Greenland, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong, Macao etc

I think you make this to difficult without a good description what is a country.
There are 195 countries in the world today but geocaching has 251 countries at the moment

Yes, that‘s it.
These areas are no countries - they are a part of the named countries and it would be great if they could count to them and not on their own.

That means 56 geocaching area's have to be identified and moved to their parent countries.

I forgot to mention earlier the US overseas area's

We are not sure how hard it is to do this... It isn’t worth to spent a lot of your time on doing this.
In our view these areas are no countries, just parts of a other one.

If there is an „quick“ way to solve the problem it would be really nice - if you spend hours and hours we think it will work like it is.

You mean take the 56 area's out.?
What about Antartica and the various parts that belong to different countries
What about Sark which is not on your list, you make it to difficult for cachers what is and isn't included.

And the next question is, will reviewers accept this

The requested changes are beginning to encroach on rule 4 (verifiable through information on Geocaching.com) and rule 5 (challenge requirements should be simple, and easy to explain, follow and document).
