Re: Clone tag

FYI, I am currently working on a new related function. "Clone tag". It will be yet another button when viewing a checker page. It will open a modal and ask for a GC-Code.

The tag will then be clone, with the exact same configuration, but with the new GC-Code. This should make it very easy for users to add tags themselves for very simple challenges that exists elsewhere.

There will be some failsafes against user errors.
* It will not allow to create a tag for a cache that already has a tag.
* It will not allow a gccode that is already published and isn't a challenge.
* It will not allow gccodes that doesnt seem reasonable (should start with GC, should be close to the latest gccode known to PGC).
When it fails due to something of the above it's most likely to be a user error, if it's not, the user has to ask for help, or if he/she has access, create a tag from scratch.

The goal is to have this ready before the weekend has ended. It has been started on and might be 25% there now.

Could the button alos be added to show tag for a checker script.

It could be very useful there to. because it is there you look for a similar/same checker if the user has not post a link to an identical.
Woud remove the need to go the the cheker page
