Hi, @jpavlik (Jet). Thanks for your reply. I've searched for @ganja1447's original script in these forums and via Google in general. No sign of it yet. So I looked at the source of the current script. I agree that it seems (unnecessarily) complicated. This would still be helpful (AFAIK it still doesn't exist). To make it more likely to find matching cachers, start with those in the CO's county/state/country who've found the most caches and work down from there.by frumiousb - Miscellaneous

Yay! If you would please just capitalize "city", we're good to go. Thank you! While I appreciate your efforts, the output is closer but not quite there. Why the "x 1" for each? Why "points" instead of "caches"? No need to obfuscate or complicate things. If you would simplify it to Fairfax County (VA), 716 caches Fairfax city (VA), 12 caches **Total 728 caches of 555 required.** it would be usable. re: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8E7ZN/53666 (see * below for output for my own numbers) Appreciate your efforts, but that's not quite what I was going for. It's a combination pass/fail, not a pass of one or the other location, and there aren't three tests to pass. There's just one test: if sum >= 555, pass. As far as output logic: try something like (aby frumiousb - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Numbers worked that time. Thank you. Would you please change the output to read something like, "You qualify for the challenge: you have found X caches in Fairfax County, VA and Y caches in Fairfax City, VA, for a total of Z."? Appreciate it.by frumiousb - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks for diving into this so quickly! I ran the new checker (on myself). It got my 712 from Fairfax County correctly, but it didn't catch any of my 12 from Fairfax City.by frumiousb - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Wish I didn't need to ask you to undo the complex logic after you did such a great job on it, so apologies for the time you spent on that. Would you please simplify the existing checker (https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8E7ZN/49401)? Well, I went and put the checker on the cache page and placed the cache and all that - and turns out my 555 doesn't pass muster after all :( Had thought they'd said it would be OK. Nope - counted as a spelling challenge. Said I can't do it as a list of places that start with 'F' either. Putting out challenge caches for certain icons: dog-friendly, thorns, etc. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC774J3/26967 checks for 250 stroller-friendly caches. I'd like a checker for 200 stroller-friendly caches. Hoping to eventually do more (400 when I get there, then 600). But I'm at 300-some now, so it'll be a little while until I'll need the 400. Thanks :) It works for me for F2 (500, 5, 5, 5, 5), which is how I qualify. Would appreciate it if someone who thinks they qualify by F1 (55, 55, 55, 55, 55) could check it for that.by frumiousb - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks! Shows that I fail because I only have 586. Correct. Will test it again once I hit 600. Really appreciate it :) --Pickypickyby frumiousb - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
As a local-to-HyperactiveGirl cacher who's gone after this very cache (found it almost a year ago, on 3/25/2019 - https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=b05684ad-07de-461a-9738-847e2fd8fd3f), I can attest that a checker would be sorely welcome. There are dog-friendly x200, 400, and 800s out there. I've cloned the 200 and 400 for challenge pages I'm writing up (have a dog-friendly path in mind; just need to pick exact spots). If it shows up as a county/city/region on the map, that should count, correct? County or independent city. That's what I'm going for. And yes, I know a scriptwriter has to write the script; that's why I'm making the request here. Thanks.by frumiousb - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I would definitely prefer to keep it simple and I do like the round number. I will go with the 600 checker and see what my local reviewer thinks. Thank you, everyone!by frumiousb - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks, both of you. The 600 script does work for me now, probably because pinkunicorn tweaked it overnight. After I contacted them, they checked the script and realized they'd coded it for >600 I/o >=600 as it should have been, and they fixed that. I got my 600th cache today (12/20/18) and am trying to create a challenge cache for others who've also gotten at least 600 caches (mine is allowed to be their 600th).
