I have discussed with the Reviewer and agreed that the qualification levels should be set at the numbers below. Could you please amend the checker accordingly. With any luck the cache can be finalised once this has been completed. County Durham 55 Northumberland 12 Tyne and Wear 10by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The list has shown up an issue on my own finds. The following are either in Tyne and Wear or Co Durham but don't appear in either county on the checker list. I use the ProjectGC script and they show up on the cache page as in Co Durham (in GSAK they are shown as Tyne and Wear). I don't mind which they are in as long as they are counted somewhere. Splendid. Thanks. I will leave this open for a few days until I have agreed the limits with the Reviewer.by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks. It seems to be working fine but has raised some tricky issues about county boundaries which will affect the qualification levels. Unfortunately the main series of 10 letterboxes in Tyne and Wear runs along the boundary with County Durham and some are counted in one county and some in the other. Is it possible to produce a list of the letterboxes in each of the 3 counties It only totals abby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I would appreciate a checker for a fairly simple Challenge on the lines of some of the Trophy Challenge county types. What I can't determine yet is the level at which qualifying will be set. For that I need the checker first so I can test that a minimum number of cachers qualify, which is what the Reviewer will want to know. The Challenge is to have logged at least the following number ofby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That looks good. the only query I have is whether it includes 1 instance of GC45CC. It should allow one find but no more. I don't see it in the list but I may just have missed it. Thanksby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry to give you more work to do but I would really appreciate if you could provide a checker on the original basis but excluding any caches more than 1 find for GC45CC.by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
My apologies for reopening this one but I have been having further thoughts. Would it be possible for the count of Virtuals logged to exclude multiple logs on the same Virtual - ie: only 1 log on GC 45CC and similar moving caches would count?by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That's excellent and fits the bill. Many thanksby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I have an existing Challenge with a checker which requires 150 Virtual finds to qualify - see GC6YV03. I now plan to place a second Virtaul Challenge which requires 75 Virtual finds to qualify. I am doing this because the UK YOSM moving cache for which multiple Virtual finds could be made has now been archived making my original Challenge much harder. I would much appreciate a 75 Virtual checkerby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Perfect and an incredibly quick response to the request. My thanks.by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I would like to request a checker for the above Challenge. The conditions are simply that, to qualify, you must have found at least 150 Virtuals as shown in your GC.com stats.by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Spot on. Everything is as wanted. Many thanksby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I would like to request a checker for the above new cache. I have cleared it with the Reviewer DalesmanX in advance. This should not be too difficult as it is the same conditions as GC6JHYD but this one requires 10 loops of the DT grid as opposed to 4 on the earlier one. Many thanksby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This is a duplicate posting because the way I posted it earlier it is lost in the middle of the thread. Apologies Sumbloke but I would like to request changes to the parameters on this checker. By testing it out I have discovered that it is easier to qualify than I thought, so I would like to toughen it up by changing the parameters to >=100 on 12 found caches. A useful discussion. Going out of my way to find lonely caches doesn't prevent me from looking for other caches on my way. Indeed, caches shown as unfound for a long time are often missing and it is compensation for the trip if you can get other caches while in the area.by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Strange that they are not allowed in Canada. Do you know why? Anyway, many thanks for providing the checker, I will test it out.by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I suspect that this cache would not be allowed under - 14. Positive Challenge Criteria. Not allowed. Not finding caches: design that limits or punishes any element of finding caches. Examples: Challenges that require ratios in findsby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I am happy to say that the Reviewer for this area, DalesmanX has agreed that this Challenge is acceptable according to the guidelines and after he has consulted other reviewers. I would appreciate if you could now develop the checker. Thanks in advance. Normanby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I'm a bit confused. The heading to this thread says "Waiting for feedback" but I sent a reply yesterday - see above. Are you still waiting for something from me? Thanksby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK. then back to your suggestion of days between publication and latest of(archived,last_find_date) . Sorry to cause you this hassle. Cheersby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Apologies but I hadn't considered that aspect. It had better be number of finds between publication and archived dates. It will be cleaner and simpler that way.by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for a positive answer. For live caches your logic is correct. For archived I would prefer number of finds between publication and archive date.by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry for the delay in replying, I didn't spot the post when it appeared. It isn't a problem for me if someone qualifies one day and then there are lots of finds because I think it will be extremely rare. Megas are very few and far between and, of course, it doesn't matter if they can show that they qualified when they claimed the cache. Having looked at the 170 caches which quaby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Many thanks. I am no IT expert but ProjectGC has the stats on each cache and its find frequency. Is it not possible to link into that? If this is not feasible I will just have to drop the idea but there is a glimmer of hope in your link, which idicates a hope to have something by June. Would that help this type of Challenge?by Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This is a request for a checker to be produced based on Lonely Caches and using the calculation methods shown in the ProjectGC Stats (ie; calculated by dividing the age of the geocaches (in days) by the number of finds). Ideally I would like this to include archived caches. The Challenge requirement would be to have found at least 10 caches with a score of 73 or more, though I may have to reduby Northumbria biker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
