I've sent an email to vogelbird with a script modification suggestion.by sumbloke - Miscellaneous
I don't think KaiserVonChina was suggesting you necessarily make an exact copy of their challenge. But that form of challenge might be better than what you've suggested. You could take their challenge as a template and adjust the threshold to one you think is suitable (maybe 30 since you have achieved that many).by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
#11 is updated. I won't be able to work on the new requirements for 9 and 10 for the next 20 hours or so, so if someone else wants to tag those feel free.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Although it would be theoretically possible, I don't think it would be allowed because it would probably count as "...based on geographic areas other than countries, states/provinces, counties (or their local equivalent)." (Guideline 10)by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The list of qualifying caches would depend on the script and/or tag (tag being the configuration). And therefore it would have some dependence on the person/s tagging scripts for your requests. If you submitted requests (rather than cloning checkers yourself), you might be able to get the checker updated by contacting the tagger, depending on whether the script allows it. Note that there'by sumbloke - Miscellaneous
Yes, that can be done easily (by just changing the labcaches flag in the configuration). Please supply your GC code and we can make your checker.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Sorry it took a little while, real life intruded and also I realised the original script was potentially giving false positives. I've updated the script and tagged this challenge too: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5079E/90886by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Can you please clarify what you mean by "travelled more than 20km"? If you mean more than 20km from the user's home coordinates, we can't do that (please read the "READ FIRST" thread as to why).by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Oops, sorry. I'd changed the name of the list (to acknowledge the change in monarch) in the script but not the tag. Fixed now.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Old checker has been removed.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Not within Project-GC. The checker system doesn't have any way to enter arbitrary coordinates for each user, so there would have to have separate configurations made for each user wanting to use it. And that would then expose those coordinates to anyone. I would suggest looking into GSAK. That tool does (afaik) have the ability to use one's home coordinates (I think it might have toby sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Here you go: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAH3EB/83544 Please confirm it is suitable. Note that challenge caches will be counted in the second condition, I don't think this script would have a way to filter them out.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Before refreshing today I got: Added challenges: 863 Removed challenges: 419 Now (with one cache added to the page) I get: Added challenges: 865 Removed challenges: 419 So last time I loaded the page, the totals matched with my total. Now there are more between these two counts than I've had an opportunity to vote on.by sumbloke - Challenge checker exceptions
Adjusted as requested. Please check it. Also, in future please contact the tagger directly, as they are the only ones (apart from administrators) who can alter a tag.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I've noticed that the "Top voters" section of the exception page usually has people listed as having voted on more caches than exist in the exceptions page. For example, there are currently 1282 caches on the page, but Pleu shows as having voted on 1284 and Deepdiggingmole shows as having voted on 1283. How have people voted on more caches than are available for voting on?by sumbloke - Challenge checker exceptions
No worries, I've changed it.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Ah, and I joined the two numbers together to get 500. Adjusted to 200 now.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I agree with Hügh, that the difference is: A bonus cache is one where you need to have found specific caches to find out where the cache is (akin to a multi-cache). A challenge cache is one where finding other caches is a prerequisite to claiming a find (akin to a Traditional cache, although some grandfathered ones have puzzles as well).by sumbloke - Challenge checker exceptions
I wouldn't be surprised if that were a file the cache owner (or the original CO, given it's been adopted) put together themselves to assist cachers, possibly even before the PGC checker system was available. You might want to send them a message to ask.by sumbloke - Miscellaneous
This would require a new script, but it's not worth writing a script since it wouldn't be allowed under guideline 9: QuoteNot acceptable Specifying any element of a cache page (type, rating, etc.) or find count (above one per day) required during a streak. What you're asking for is a streak with restrictions on region.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
