A new one appears on the list Already I am against the flow GC2H0AW : Challenge - Easy Now - In my heart I do not think this should be a challenge cache - there is no real challenge ! But my head says - It says it is a challenge (and in the cache name), in the description there is a requirement to fulfil in order to qualify even though the requirement is only to find one other cache - thby Deepdiggingmole - Challenge checker exceptions
I posted the above on FB on the PGC page - as not everyone will be on FB - I'll repeat it here (I had added it under the test page and seems it has been missed there - so adding as a new post now) I welcome the possibility of having a dedicated forum to discuss those challenge caches that appear in the exception list that have not had a conclusive vote (i.e. - not been voted conclusivelby Deepdiggingmole - Challenge checker exceptions

HI I am sorry I don't know what the above means - can you tell me in laymans terms thanksby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
I am looking at an idea for a challenge cache - cache not submitted as yet as I still working on ideas One in mind is linked to a recent thread I have seen about finding different icons using the power of 2 as an incremental stage i.e 2 of one icon, 4 of another, 8 of another and so on up to 1024 Would it be possible to use this theme with finding caches in different countries i.e 2 in oneby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
Does Moderator activity (challenge cache assessment) get rewarded with points that go towards the PGC badge ? If not - can it ? thanks Timby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous

Why was this one put up for checking on the exception list ?? GC1BM13 Its a trad and no mention of the word challenge ???by Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
I'm now getting a message to vote on this and it is still unpublished ????by Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
Who put GC8594J - Bezdrożem 1: WORLD CHALLANGE 3*3 into the checker exception list ???? It isn't even published yet ???by Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
I have also noted that there needs to be 9 different COs too -- aargh - my list is OK - but will obviously make the script that much harder to create i'm sureby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Thank you for trying though - it is appreciated The problem with the challenge is that it is hard to get your head round to ensure you comply with the requirments as the CO has set out - I have managed, finally, to find a set of nine that fitted in with all aspects - however because of the complexity it is obvious the majority of finders have NOT understood it and have supplied incorrect lists.by Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I have used the checker and it does not show potential for duplicity The challenge is very specific in that you can only use any type or size - once however it does state twice at a maximium to allow for the alternate size/type use for example :- you may claim 1 as a small traditional (using the Small as the unique type) and another small traditional (this would be unique as the Trad). Good job - that works fine now Many thanks Timby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi that possibly works - I have a green light - however the listing does not indicate cache owners - one of the criteria is each cache has to have a different cache owner and so I would think it best to have this information generated too. I would need to check each of thse caches to see if this does in fact work many thanks - much appreciated Timby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Transpires I had made a mistake with this on a manual check and so a checker would be very helpful Thanks Timby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Can I ask why this is still shown as 'New script required' and no action on it - if this one is not doable (though above comment suggests it is ) then I am happy for this request to be closed - but it would seem this is doable. As I am sure many others would agree, I am grateful for the work that script writers put in to get these checkers created - stuff that is way over my head - butby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Just a point of note - and an issue that has come to light a lot recently it is possible for a cacher to obtain many dozens of souvenirs (probably over 200 in fact) without actually finding any caches - logging finds on caches in countries that have souvenirs and even states/counties that have those too and then deleting those logs - results in the cacher not showing finds in those countries aby Deepdiggingmole - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
An interesting addition to the site - and a very useful tool I can see the reason behind why that it should be for CO viewing only - however my experience of COs checking challenges are that a high percentage dont. I have come across many logs where it is evident the cacher has not qualified, and yet the CO has not done anything about it - I have even found on occasions when the issue is raisby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
two more GC7WRXN - Staffs Challenge 2 = MULTI A-Z and GC7WRFZ - Staffs Challenge 1 = CM 10 in 10 Looks like this cacher found old challenge caches - used their checkers and even added "Thanks to mole125 for his work on the checker!! " on one of them - cheekyby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
Interesting one - https://coord.info/GC7Y68W This appears to have been approved and even a checker created - however I would have thought that this one would not be acceptable due to it relying on information retrieved from the cache name This goes against rule 10 : source of criteria : These cache page elements: cache titles, cache owner, GC Codes, publishing Reviewer, or cache page text.by Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
Ok - to continue this thread with another query The following is listed in the exception list and it seems the majority of moderators have upvoted it - https://coord.info/GC27P0F This challenge is based on finding caches belonging to the CO "To be able to sign this cache, you must find 45 caches of joce13 or more in one day" the CO of the challenge is joce13 However Sectionby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
I am NOT referring to any caches - If I had wanted to refer to a specific cache I would have made reference to it ! I have been involved in a discussion with local cachers to me who were talking about setting resus caches, such as 1 a day for 7 days, or 5 in a day and the like I am under the impression that resus caches are no longer allowed and was asking for clarification as to why, and whby Deepdiggingmole - Miscellaneous
