To clarify: is this just US states, or do equivalent level divisions in other countries count? Such as Canadian provinces or German Bundesländer?by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Cool. Archiving.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
One more thing to think about: Project-GC only sees the listed coordinates. So multi-caches and mystery caches in particular will not have their actual location checked. You may want to exclude those sort of types and reduce the icon limit.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No, it won't be as simple as that. However, that script would be a good starting point.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I can't see any way to do this with any existing script, so a new script will be needed. It will likely be low on the priorities, since it will be of limited use.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Tags can only be modified by the tagger or script writer (or possibly admins as well), preferably the tagger. In this case the tag was made by vogelbird. He's pretty active on this forum, so will likely notice this thread soon, otherwise you can contact him directly using the link next to "Tagged by: ..." on the checker page.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Additionally, your reviewer will ask you to show that it is achievable by a reasonable number of cachers. Since Wherigos are so rare, I suspect this challenge would fail on that measure as well.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

The challenge conditions as written will probably need a new script to be written. If you changed it to a specified number of matching finds rather than the total terrain ratings (which for these conditions would range from 20-34 finds anyway) it should be mostly achievable with existing scripts. One other condition I wanted to flag with you is the "No cache you've placed yourself&quby sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes, the full list would be necessary. Preferably with the names Project-GC uses (e.g., "Grant Parish (LA)")by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It might be that the reviewer looked at the script name and thought that the word "Generic" in the script name meant that it wasn't configured for this cache specifically.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
My "Spelling checker with day/date/month and type restrictions" might help for optimisation. I had to do some when I added the type restrictions. Basically it tries to fill the box with the least options first, using the option with the least boxes it can appear in first.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Cool. In that case, I'll file this thread.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The other possibility would be to exclude multis and mysteries since they're (generally) listed at a different location to where the cache itself is.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Okay, I've updated the tag as requested. I've tweaked the comment slightly to: Find 10 caches in New Zealand with over 1,000 finds. At least 2 caches must be on each main island. (just because it doesn't require 2 caches in the Chatham Islands region) Do you want the "output groups including empty with totals." bit in there to get counts per island?by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No, there is no way to consistently determine whether a cache is within a capital city without defining polygons for each. This would fall under the "user-defined mapping polygons" exclusion under guideline 10: http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Another possibility would be if changing the comma before the "\n" to a double dot might work. I haven't tested this though. Print("gc ".. cache['gccode'].." county "..cache['county']..' visitdate: '..cache['visitdate'],"\n" ) Print("gc ".. cache['gccode'].." county "..cache[by sumbloke - Script development
1. It's two in unique regions and 8 others anywhere in NZ. It doesn't matter for those 8 which region(s) the finds are in. 2/3. Link to the log doesn't seem to be covered by that script that I can see. I've added the date found to the output. 4. Unfortunately, the spaces is an artefact of the script rather than my tag.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

FTFs are not allowed as challenge conditions, under guideline 14 http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
A checker can be made fairly easily. Please provide your GC code once you've created your page (without submitting for review) and we can make the checker.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The existing polygon checker doesn't handle the multiple finds in the same polygon (or the minimum number of types) requirements. A new script would be needed. Additionally, you'd need to provide polygon data for each national park.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Okay, that is what I first thought you meant and would definitely not be allowed. For example, another 2500 1.5/1.5 caches without any other finds would drop the product below 5, so it's discouraging finding the more common D/T rated caches. The other two interpretations I came up with would both result in a value of 3 * 3 = 9 for someone who has filled the matrix, but would differ in howby sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Yes (or at least, once Project-GC detects that it has, which might be a few hours later)by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
When I read your post, I interpreted it as talking about the averages over all finds, which for most people is under 2. That would certainly not be allowed under guideline 14. I suggest you try to clearly articulate the challenge condition when you put it to a reviewer. Even now that I realise that you're talking about the matrix, I can see two different interpretations: the average D/T oby sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Average D and T ratings are not allowed for challenge conditions under guideline 14. This is because it discourages finding caches with low ratings. That said, it would definitely be possible to create a checker if it was allowed. When you do come up with different challenge conditions, please include your GC code for the challenge cache. This is required for a checker to available for thatby sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
