What they seem to be saying is that you're not allowed to specify any geographic areas other than countries, states/provinces or counties as restrictions on where a cache can be found to qualify. For example, you would no longer be able to specify "Australian caches west of E129" but would be able to specify "caches in Western Australia" (which is effectively the sameby sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The standard contact method would be to use the link next to "Tagged by: ..." on the checker page. In this case you don't need to bother, since I saw your post before you got to that.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I have adjusted the tag as requested, however I read your reviewer's comment as being that they object to there being geographic restrictions (minutes of that degree of latitude) that are not country, state/province or county.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Which one would you prefer, vogelbird's or mine? They are giving the same result, just different output (his gives just the total number found, mine lists the finds as well).by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Cancelling this request because a duplicate request exists and has been responded to.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
It looks like you have requested it before, but nobody has dealt with it. I will cancel that other request. I can't see any script which will handle those specific requirements. Additionally, this is likely to be quite low on the priority list for a script writer, since no new challenges will be allowed with similar requirements, so it has limited utility.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Oops, should have checked if it was requested in a new thread as well. I read this thread as having been cancelled because the original request was against the guidelines. I've removed my tag.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The parks would be able to be defined as polygons, so using the GenericPolyChecker script (which is used for most/all DeLorme challenges) is possible. Your biggest issue in creating a new challenge of this type is the new guidelines. Guideline 10, for example, includes "Challenge cache criteria must come from information broadly available on Geocaching.com and must be verifiable through iby sumbloke - Script development

I considered the Multiple test Checker script, but the region counting part of it only handles the number of regions, not the number of finds in each.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I've updated to the list from the other tag. The list I used first was from the Continent Checker, so if that's wrong it might be worth getting in touch with that script writer.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Oops. I have corrected it.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
@ELSIRAFAJA: 1. This is not related to the topic of this thread. You should create a new thread for a completely different request. 2. The challenge you are requesting a checker for would not be published. It violates guideline 9. Time-Limited and guideline 14. Positive Challenge Criteria. Please read the challenge guidelines: http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Darn, it looks like the existing scripts don't handle multiple finds per region in multiple countries. I think a new script will be needed, although it's probably not going to be too difficult a script.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I can see a script for two caches on the same day, but I think the three caches on the same day would need a new script (possibly just a variation on the script I found).by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Should be possible. Please provide your GC code for the cache (doesn't have to be submitted for review yet, just needs to have the page created). Additionally, do you want the District of Columbia allowed or disallowed for the USA? It would be easier to make a checker if it's allowed (and most people qualifying would be likely to have more than five regions in the USA anyway).by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Does it work correctly if "0" is not the first item? For example: "dists":{"10":1,"0":1,"20":0}by sumbloke - Script development

"The centre of Australia" would also not be acceptable as it is quite vague. You would need to specify the coordinates yourself. In this case, I would suggest either picking a landmark (e.g., Uluru or Alice Springs) or choosing a specific centre ( http://www.ga.gov.au/scientific-topics/national-location-information/dimensions/centre-of-australia-states-territories#heading-2 gives five dby sumbloke - Miscellaneous
Yes, it is more complex than that. If it was a matter of just creating a new tag, someone would have done so. A new script takes much more time and effort.by sumbloke - Miscellaneous
Okay, I have modified the tag: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6B1R6/21712 In future, please make it clear that you're requesting a change to a checker (preferably by contacting the tagger directly by clicking the link next to the "Tagged by:" on the checker page) as this forum is more for requesting new checkers.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The reason I say it would be arguably against guideline 14 is the "Competition rather than achievement" part of the not acceptable listing. In the more usual case, as soon as a cache hasn't been found for 6/12 months you're competing with other cachers to find it. In this challenge variant, as soon as the average has ticked over the threshold, you're competing withby sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Additionally, the existing similar challenges are from before the new guidelines came into effect. I'm not aware of any similar challenges being published after the moratorium ended.by sumbloke - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
