Thank you, The checker works just fine as it is. Unfortunately, non-traditional Jasmer challenge are now illegal. So I cannot publish it.by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Morning - I am looking for help building a challenge checker. The basic premise is a Jasmer Challenge using non-traditional caches only. Due to limitations of some of the earlier months, I would like to break this down into two parts. A cacher would need to complete both parts in order to qualify. Part 1) Find a non-traditional cache hidden in every month from June 2001 - present miby Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That should do the trick. Thank you,by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Evening - Looking for help with creating a checker for finding 5000 mystery caches. Would like it set up for distinct geocaching codes. I know in the old days you could log challenges multiple times depending on the challenge. Output can be a simple congrats you qualify. Thank you, Both of those function the way I expected. I appreciate it.by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Evening - Looking for help on two challenges. Both will have a geographic restriction of Mower County, Minnesota, United States GCAG7K6 - Oldies of Mower County Challenge standard checker for oldest in a county. Need 7 out of 10 oldest active caches. If someone has found an archived cache that fits in the list, that will work as well. Sorry, I thought I closed the loop on this one. Checker works splendid. Thanks for helping me out.by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Morning - Thank you for putting that together. It looks like it is pulling the data correctly. Would it be possible to make one tweak on the output? Can we list the county along with the state? i.e. Barnes County (ND) Thank you,by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
North Dakota Challenge: Oldest by County I am wondering if I could modify this checker for a new challenge? https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9THHN/68671 The challenge would be for North Dakota instead. Same basic concept though. It would require finding the oldest cache in 32 out of the 53 different counties. Archived caches will count for this challenge. Also, hides will also countby Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks, I love the output on this one. Very detailed and makes it easy to track progress. I ran it through its paces and it seems to be doing the job the way I envisioned. Appreciate it.by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
For the output, can you list out each region up to 20 regardless of qualifying or not, and all the icons from that region?by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Morning - I looked through current checkers to see if I could clone one, but I couldn't seem to find what I was looking for. What I am hoping to do is create a challenge that requires finding five icons from twenty different regions. Regions can be anywhere in the world. If adventure labs get picked up, that is fine. If not, no worries. The code is GCAEC7D. Thank you, Boreby Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for making the modification. I have update the link on my cache page with 78962. I like the format of that one better. I appreciate the assistance on modifying the checker. -BWby Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Morning - I am wondering if someone can modify the checker for GCA4XXW to include all regions as maintained by project-gc and not just the 50 US states. I didn't mean to limit it and have gotten a note from some Canadian cachers that their provinces aren't showing up. No rush, just whenever someone has a free moment. Good Evening - So, I someone noticed a bug with the checker. Yellowdogs reached out to me. He has finds in Hinds County, MS; Hartford County, CT, and Pulaski County, AR. I am guessing that Hinds and Pulaski County are just truncated off since he has found 27 counties and only 25 show up. So those should be good. The map of Connecticut on project-gc looks nothing like the county map ofby Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you, Reviewer approved challenge. No further modifications needed. I appreciate the help with this.by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for putting this together for me. I think the output looks great. I appreciate it. I think I was a little ambitious in my qualifiers. Can I drop the required number of counties to 25? That is the only way I could find 10 local cachers that qualify. Thanks,by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Are you able to add the "District of Columbia" as a county to the list of options?by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I am looking for help Frankensteining a challenge checker together. The geocaching code is GCA6M5P. It needs to be untagged from its current challenge. It was rejected. The challenge is to find a cache in 35 of the US state capital counties. District of Columbia can also be used for one of the counties. I found a checker that checks for the counties from what I can tell: https://proby Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Reviewer approved. Good to go. Thank you,by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Morning - It looks like the checker is working fine and the output has the necessary information. However, 25 counties appears to be too tough of a challenge as there are not enough local cachers that qualify. Can we drop the requirement to 20? Might be able to pick up the last remaining ones I would need to prove it is a doable challenge. Thanks, -BWby Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Script is working now. I will dig deeper into it and let you know. Thank you,by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you, I tried clicking on the link, but I got this error message: "This checker script is disabled"by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Afternoon - I am in need of a new challenge checker for GCA6KRA. I am imposing a type restriction of only virtuals and earthcaches for this challenge. The challenge is to find a cache in 25 of the counties listed below: Copper River, Alaska, United States Denali, Alaska, United States Hoonah-Angoon, Alaska, United States Kenali Peninsula, Alaska, United States Lake and Peninsula, Aby Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I ran through all the checkers. They look good. Thank you,by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Good Morning - I am looking for help with some fizzy challenges. I found four of the ones I need online, so I can clone those. The challenges are basically identical. Completed your fizzy grid using caches placed in January only, February only, ex cetera. No type or location restrictions. Can I get help with the other eight months? Thank you, That looks nice. I showed it to a couple that were making the ask and they said it was very helpful. I appreciate it.by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I will add a note here to see if this is visible. There has been a requested modification from the geocaching community. They would like the checker to let them know how close they are to completing the challenge if they do not qualify. Maybe X/13 regions complete and list out up to eight icons for the regions with the most icons.by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Looks good. Thank you,by Boreal Walker - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
