Hi there - My unpublished GCAT691challenge cache already has this checker built for it - https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAT691/101447. Right now the challenge is to find 11 different cache types with a D1/T1 difficulty/terrain level. I was wondering if I could add another "dimension"/criterion to the challenge before I publish it. In keeping with the 1s theme of this challenge,by sapien - Checker requests
Mystery solved. Thank you for identifying the "issue". That's exactly what the problem was. I didn't realize how LGAs "work" in Australia. It appears they are MUCH smaller than the equivalent 'counties' in North America. It turns out the home LGA for this cacher appears to only have ~152 caches in it so it's practically impossible for them toby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi again - I could use some help with another one of my challenge checkers. A cacher has reported some strange behavior with https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAQ29V/90656. The cacher is from Australia and when they run the checker, it returns Canberra (county: Australia-Australian Capital Territory-Australian Capital Territory) showing they've completed 110 days. The strange part is theby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The new checker looks and works great! Very impressive! Great job! Thank you for all your hard work and time and testing. I've tested it and maxxed out my checker runs so I can't do any more testing but it looks awesome so far. :-) Great catch excluding the Locationless cache type and travelling caches. I assumed they would have been excluded already, to be honest. My bad. Aby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I just dropped you a DM with the cachers' names. Thank you for catching the cache name thing. I didn't even know that was part of the checker. I never requested that so that's great you removed it.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry it took so long to reply. I like the look of the new checker but I may have found an issue. It appears to run "slower" than the other checker and as a result, when I tested it on a couple of the local cachers, it times out. When it timed out, it just defaults and says both of the cachers fail to qualify. But when I run the same cachers through the first checker, they donby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you. Looks like it's handling all 7 sizes properly now but I have a question about the actual look of the output. If the cacher doesn't qualify, the output appears in the 'Script Output' section but if the cacher qualifies, there is nothing in the 'Script Output' section. It appears in the 'Example log' section instead. Can it appear in both?by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Is it possible for the checker to allow for all 7 cache sizes (Small, Micro, Regular, Large, Other, Virtual, and Not chosen) to be used for the challenge but only require (any) 6 in order to complete the challenge? I've discussed with our local reviewer and they will allow this. Thanks.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there - I was wondering if this checker https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA1Z7P/72784 could be changed. Here's the original request https://project-gc.com/forum/read?11,67178,67178#msg-67178. Because of the changes to the challenge rules last year, this challenge is no longer allowed. This challenge requires the "Not chosen" cache size which is not allowed any more. Thank you for the quick turnaround once again. Of the 2 options, I would prefer the https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCBFJ4V/113464 checker. I still like the look of the output better over the other one. I've tested it as much as I could against my 10 checker run limit and it appears all is good. Hopefully this is the only error I didn't catch. :-b Please close this request asby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi again - a checker was recently created for me but now that the challenge is published, I just noticed a bug with it when it's been run against more cachers. It appears this checker https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCBFJ4V/113233 allows Feb 29th finds to count as one of the 365 days of the year. I want the challenge to be for all 365 days of the years, but with Feb 29th being excluded fby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi there, could I please get a challenge checker created for GCBFJ4V? The new challenge is essentially the same as https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAN42X/95123 except it is for the "Takes less than one hour" attribute instead of "Available 24/7". Tested and the checker looks to be working much better now. No more issues with any of the heavy hitters I tested. Thank you for your help. Please feel free to close this request.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there - I was wondering if an existing challenge checker could be improved/modified/optimized. A cacher just reported an issue with this checker for one of my caches - https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAEV95/81762 When the cacher tried to verify they qualify for the challenge, the checker times out on them. They suspect it's because of their high find count (they have almost 100by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi there - I was wondering if an adjustment could be made to an existing checker of mine - https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAF6CT/87979. Could the year of each hide be added to the checker output? Right now, if you don't qualify, there's no easy way to figure out which year(s) you're missing unless you manually go through each cache. Thanks.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks for the info. Here's the verbiage I have written on the cache page right now - QuoteLocationless caches, adventure lab caches and benchmarks can not be used for this challenge. Other cache types such as Geocaching HQ, Geocaching HQ Block Parties, Geocaching HQ Celebrations and Project APE Caches are automatically excluded from this challenge because they are not available in Canaby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you very much. It looks great! I just updated the cache with the new checker. Please close this request and disable/delete the other checker.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there - is it possible to modify this checker https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9H34X/63681 so that it shows the 10 "closest" cache types even if a cacher doesn't qualify? Right now, if a cacher qualifies, the checker shows all 10 cache types and their 10 finds for each type, but if the cacher doesn't qualify, it only lists the cache types where they have found 10 fiby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Well I guess that's good news then and also interesting. When I requested the checker originally, I asked for Block Parties and some other cache types to be excluded from the challenge because they weren't available in Canada. I guess that Block Parties must have slipped through? Should I be concerned about the other cache types then?by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there - it was just pointed out to me that this GCA5GCF challenge checker needs to be modified to allow for Block Parties as an 'allowed' cache type now. In the past Block Parties only happened in Seattle but that's changed now. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA5GCF/75746 Thank you.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there - could I please get a checker created for GCAX6E9? The challenge requirement is to find 100 telephone nearby attributes. The only extra criterion for the challenge I can think of is: you can not use the same cache multiple times, from when you used to be able to do that. I assume that bookmark list of those special travelling caches is excluded by default as well? I think thby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi again - could I please get a checker created for GCAT691? To qualify for the challenge, you must have found (1 cache of) 11 different cache types, all of which must have D1/T1 ratings. Benchmarks and of course, lab caches, are the only cache types excluded from this challenge. As far as I can think, that's the challenge explained. Please let me know if you have any questions oby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you, vogelbird. What is the best way to reach out to bmuzzin then?by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Howdy all - I didn't realize this challenge would be such a hot topic. ;-) And so yes, ideally I would like the 7 same cache types to be used for both the found date and hidden date grids. If that's possible. That being said, I've done some testing with the checker that was created by vogelbird (the output and look of the grids is awesome, BTW), and it appears everyone, whby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi again - Could I please get a checker created for my new challenge cache GCAJ04E? I consider my new challenge to be similar (sort of) to https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA2KRJ/73404 so perhaps it could be re-used in part for my new checker. Essentially my new challenge uses day of the week, instead of the months of the year. My new challenge requires people to find all 7 cache sizes (micby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi again - as a follow-up for this thread, the good news is all 4 of the challenge checkers did eventually their difficulty levels back a few days after my last post. However, the bad news is 2 of the difficulty levels have disappeared again since. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAF6CT/87979 disappeared on Dec 20th and https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA2KRJ/73404 dropped off on Dec 26tby sapien - Miscellaneous
