When I have the Live Map open in Chrome and I try to open the filters list, or any of the other options nothing happens. I do not have the same issue in Firefox.

Try logging out (and in again) from the site in Chrome and see if that helps.

I did that and I even changed user to browse as guest with no extensions to see if that helped and it didn't. I did notice when I go to try to "find" myself I get an error:

With "as guest", do you mean incognito mode then? If not, please try that. It will prevent the web browser from using your current cookies.

I have taken a look at your data on your account related to the LiveMap. It is quite basic and should not be an issue. I can try to reset it, though I doubt it will help.

I am afraid that it is a security starting in Chrome 50, I just tested with 49, works fine. Since I am at an event and will hold a lecture in 1h 10 min, I don't want to upgrade right now. :)
Yeah I am wondering if the issue is related to my version of Chrome. The issue sounds very similar to what this person had.

I deleted my ProjectGC cookies and all my cache but it didn't seem to help
I opened the Dev Console while accessing the page and got some errors:

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://project-gc.com/Tools/LiveMap' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet 'http://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.1.0/css/font-awesome.min.css'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
LiveMap:1 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://project-gc.com/Tools/LiveMap' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?libraries=places&sensor=false'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
There is the repo case, thank you!
https://project-gc.com/LiveMap doesn't load for me either.

Until further notice, I recommend to not use Project-GC over https for that purpose.
I tried to make a fast hotfix for it, but I could not manage in the few minutes I have right now.

We are currently not controlling the certificate of https for maxcdn.project-gc.com, and unsure if we can do. We will have to read some documentation.
It's odd because also when I try to click filters, the settings cog and any of those others the URL changes but the menu does not pop out. I have reset my chrome but it doesn't seem to help.
I have a video showing it if that helps.
Maybe I was unclear. I get the same problem if I use https://project-gc.com/LiveMap , so I know what to look for.

Meanwhile you should try to use http://project-gc.com/LiveMap instead, then it will work. As an alternative I assume one can change the security settings in Chrome, but I don't recommend that.
This was to solve the filter, settings, information and log button issue?
Just wanted to check on the status of this...
Curious on the status of this
The status is quite honestly that we haven't had any possibility to prioritize this. I don't know when we will get the time either. It is noted though.
A few weeks back we switched everything to https, I assume this should be working correctly now.
So, the location stuff works fine now, but the Filter, Settings, Information button and those in that left-hand toolbar are still not working for me in Chrome.
I have removed your private settings related to LiveMap to see if that helps. I doubt it though. But it's also the only thing that's personal to your account regarding LiveMap.

Your settings were: exclude found, Google Road as default map layer, save filters, and geocache limit 2500.

If it still doesn't work, please create a ticket in our support system. We will probably need to know if your development console (F12) says anything. It's likely to be some javascript that breaks.
I have the same issue (dec. 2017). On my Windows 10 PC I have installed 4 different browsers. Only in Internet Explorer I can "open" the live filter, the settings, the info and the log menu. In the other 3 (latest versions of the browsers) nothing happens when I click on the bar at the left side (only the URL changes)
