I am sure I managed to find a church micro mapping tool a few weeks ago, but now I can't seem to find one. Can anyone help please?

If I'm travelling I like to pick up a CM or two so it's handy to be able to work out a route

I'm not aware of one specifically for church micros. You can use the wildcard search on the PGC home page, the "Cache name" filter on Live Map or, if you're a paying member, the "Cache name" filter on Map Compare.

If you're a paying member of PGC you could create a VGPS and import them from Andy33's bookmark lists. This could take a while as there are at least ten lists of up to 1000 caches each.

Hi

If you use cachly on your phone (iPhone) you can search by name.

All you do is touch the cog in the search bar and a list of options come up the top one is

"Search by cache name"  switch this on and type church micro in the search bar then and tap search it will only find church micros.   Voila !   If you turn off found caches too it will search further afield each time you tap the search wheel.

Hope that helps.   I've only just found your question on the website sorry if it's a late reply to your question

The problem with church micros is that no one knows where they are - a map of church locations (or other man made structures) is not available within PGC. Thus you are restricted to working off cache names - eg assuming all church micros have "church micro" as part of the cache name.

A more reliable method might be if someone created a bookmark list of church micros (Andy33?). But now the problem is in keeping it updated. PGC can map bookmark lists.

Church micro bookmark lists already exist - see here http://www.15ddv.me.uk/geo/cm/
There are currently 12 lists as each list has a limit of 1000 caches, so ideally PGC would need to be able to map multiple lists at once.

Generally I find that just doing a name search for "church micro" is sufficient to get a pretty good map of them - occasionally one will be missing (normally if it is part of another series) and sometimes extra caches may also be shown (most commonly CM based challenges).

If you are a paying member  in PGC you can use the wilcard search in the Dashboard:

Use "Church Micro United Kingdom" and you will get a list of all Caches with Church Micro in the title.

For sure you can define further things like hide archived

At the end of the table is an icon to switch to a map with the cache positiuons.
