wrong home coordinates

Question

In the user settings it says that the home coordinates will be updated once a day from the geocaching website.

I recently (30.6.) updated my home coordinates on geocaching.com due to a move and they are still the old ones.

Has there something gone wrong with the update process?

Could i update them by using self support?

But then it should not say "once a day", because it suggerates that the coordinates will be updated and the statistics will be shown correct on the next day.
It is nothing super important, but i just wondered, if there was something wrong, because the coordinates did not update..

It seems like it isn't updating as they are supposed to. The fact is that in most case the coordinates doesn't really matter. For the statistics (top lists) we do not use home coordinates but guess the home location from your finds instead.

I believe that your coordinates will update on the next page load of Project-GC.

Today it worked.

I think, the home-coordinates are used for the live map? Because i had to move it to my new location in the last days, when i looked at it.

That is correct, it's used for the Live map, and probably for some other cases as well. When I wrote the above I couldn't think of a single case, though I knew it was used a bit here and there.

I cannot change my home coordinates in the PGC-settings. It is greyed out and the page says the coordinates will be updated once a day. But today (4.7.) they are still wrong..
