Hi there,

I am searching for a better way, to show specific caches (i.e. T5 caches) on a map.

Right now I use "Map compare" with this filter

  • Cache location: Germany / Baden-Württemberg
  • Profile name: geoGRAV
  • Show none: on
  • Terrain: 5.0

Is there an easier way to show the caches on a map?

What is wrong with the way you do it now? I think the tool (including the map) is very usefull
If you are a paying member of Project-GC you can create a Custom Filter that contains all these things so that you only need to select one thing on the Map Compare page. But otherwise I don't see the problem with doing it this way.
Yes - I am a paying member, so I could create such a "custom filter". But that was not my point.
From my point of view it's not so logical to use a map COMPARE tool, when I just want to check my caches.

But I interpret your response as an answer for my question: NO there is no easier way to show the caches on a map. .... And that's all what I wanted to know :)
The Map Compare tool is useful for an incredible number of things that aren't comparisons. It's probably the single page I use the most. Maybe it should be called something else, though.

In the meantime I found a really simple way: Custom Filter .... Just creating a new custom filter once and you can use it very quick. :)

Just to mark this question as answered, since the answer happened to be delivered in a comment: No, there is no easier way.
