As the new "funky" icons on the Groundspeak maps no longer distinguish between Premium Member Only caches and ordinary ones, is it possible that this feature could be introduced on Live maps instead? Although I'm a premium member, I like to see which caches aren't available when I go caching with friends who aren't members, as for various reasons they don't log PMO caches even though it's technically possible.

Not only is this a good idea, but it would also be nice to have a premium filter in Map Compare, so that when I am planning a trip with non-premium members, we can target non-premium caches.
Oh my, i didn't use the Groundspeak maps for a while so i had to have a look, what the "funky new icons" are. ;-)

I prefer looking here on pgc on the live map or other maps to plan my trips!

And yes it would be nice, if there were different icons for PMO caches, although i am premium member since almost ten years.

But even more i would like to see my ignore list implemented in the live map.
This and implementing an ignored list would make the PGC by far the best map option.

Since I am premium member, I do not need to distinguish which cache is premium and which not. Personally I have never used this info so far. Rather I looked for number of FPs to have a feeling how "good" the cache (probably) is.

Have you never planned a trip with non-members?
Of course, I have. I made a PQ, sent a gpx file  to my friend and then went for caching together. Btw, there were ways how non-members could have had logged PMO caches. I am not sure if this has not been disabled.
But even if so, why to miss a good cache?
The workaround for non-premium members to log a pmo-cache is still working. But is it nice to see, which caches are pmo only.
