I flagged a answer. I didn't mean to by mistake? Will this affect the answer?

If you did it by mistake, you can again click on the "Unflag" button to remove the flag.

The only thing that happens is to notify moderators, that this answer needs some attention and they can handle it or ignore it altogether.
