Would it be possible to create a list (probably paying subscriber only type) that listed any caches owned that had photos where those photos have exif coordinate info? I'm guessing it would entirely depend on whether the database currently stores whether exif coords are on a photo, and if not at present then how difficult it would be to add this feature.

This sort of report would help COs of puzzle and multi caches where people have posted photos that contain exif info with coordinates. With the wide spread use of smartphones for picture taking having embeded exif info is becoming more and more common and this can spoil puzzle caches if the CO isn't aware of the issue.

Not only is this a good idea, but a warning added if the exif coordinates are within 20 metres would be nice.

I would like this warning added to the photo notifier email, even though the photo itself is included.
Thanks for the support. I'm not sure a 20m idea would be possible though as this would require knowing the final coordinates which project GC wouldn't have.

It's not quite a report, but if you use Project-GC's notifier emails about new photos on your owned caches you will find warnings in those messages about images being geotagged (when appropriate). You activate these notifier emails in the settings, ShammyLevva -> Settings.

Yes fully aware of that functionality. However it only lets you know of changes to photos uploaded. It provides no feedback on older logs.

I'm using the Greasemonkey script on Firefox and when I look at the GC cache loggings I can see if there's an exif info showing the coordinates directly in the particular log. I know that is not an answer on your question and not an option for Co:s with many mysterycaches, but it is one way to easily find them.

Yup already use this and yes not really a viable option for reporting. The reason I raised the issue is because it is far easier to have the computer do the work and run a report than trawl through the data manually. As an IT guy I always look to see how the computer can do the work. In this case the data is there it's jus writing the report and adding that as an option that's missing.
