Stats update

A few years ago I asked about manually requesting a stats update and your reply was that this was planned but required a huge amount of work.

Recently I’ve noticed that when I access my stats then the first set reported are often the previous update, but refreshing the page immediately usually results in an update with the latest data.  Natually this only works once a day and on the first access.

Is this the way that you’ve designed the site or have I just been lucky

It may be a browser cache issue.  I've not seen this using Firefox.  What are you using?

I’m using Safari but this happens even when I’ve opened a new window to get the “old” stats

This is probably your browser caching the old data until you click on refresh.
