I found a cache ( GC9D2E) a few years ago. At this time it is archived, but located in oregon (USA) and more then 5000 meters below sea level. This keeps messing up my statistics. I can't change this data, neither can project-gc. I did not want to loose the found log either however. Any solutions?

Yes and no. There's no general way for you to exclude specific caches from statistics. In this particular case, the case is included on https://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=7cf4124c-1061-4412-b79a-7df1df4d8783 which is an official bookmark list with "Traveling caches and other special cases that should be ignored when awarding souvenirs or determining distance-related statistics". Caches on this list will be excluded from your statistics on geocaching.com and by default on Project-GC as well. However, we have a setting where you can change this. Go to Profile Statistics, click "> Settings" and set the value of the checkbox about the official ignore list to be used and that cache (or any other caches on that bookmark list) will not affect your statistics.
