Since you asked, it turns out that we have such a plan. It's your fault, actually. ;)
The function is done and you can choose if you want it to be included or not. As of this writing, however, this version is only available on our development server but it will appear on the public server as well in a couple of days (you will see an extra example statbar with labcaches on the page when the function is active).
