There is a challenge cache with a 4/1 dt that I need for my 6th fizzy.

It says that you have to find a cache on its 10th anniversary.

Thanks

use Map Compare (on the Tools menu).

  1. Have your GC name in Profile Name
  2. No other names to compare against (yes you don't have to compare to use Map Compare)
  3. Set a location filter if desired
  4. Use the Add Filter drop down to add the "From / To Hidden date" filter
  5. Set the From date and To Date to be 10 years before when you expect to find the cache.  For example, if you are caching this weekend, the from date would  2008-01-10 (Saturday 10 years ago) and the to date would be 2008-01-11 (Sunday 10 years ago).
  6. Adjust any other filters as needed
  7. Press Filter.

You will see a map with a list below it of all the caches published 10 years before this weekend.

Hope this helps!

This would work, but its not a very elegant solution. I have been asking for a feature to search for anniversary/birthday caches irrespective of year for a long time. (ie: Find caches hidden on 01/01/xxxx). If this feature existed, the OP would just have to filter the results to see all those that are 10 years or older.
Fair enough.  That would be more convenient.

Would a search for the specific hidden date (say 08 Feb 2008 for this week's Thursday) do?

If you have premium create a pocket query with your usual area/not found filters and set the Placed During filters to 7 Feb 2008 to however long out you want to go (in case you have to wait a few months).
