With start today my chrome browser hangs when I go to the VGPS page. If the list to show is short, let us say below 100 caches it wakes up after a while and the page is possible to use but if the list contains more than 200 caches it is more or less hanging forever. My feeling is that the data has arrived from the server but for some reason it is very heavy to show the matrix. Looking at the Task manager within chrome the VGPS tab is consuming 95-100% CPU, and it stays like this forever. When I tried using Firefox browser instead, there was no problem using the VGPS even if the list is long.

The computer has an Intel core i7-7700HQ CPU, 32GB ram so that should be enough. I measured network speed to at least 150Mbit/s, that should also be enough. Updated Chrome to latest version today and also java to the latest version today without any improvement. Compared versions with a caching friend who did not have any problem and we have the same.

Any ideas about what can cause this problem?

Try Ctrl + Shift + Del to bring up delete browsing history, blow away cookies and other site data (this will sign you out of sites) + cached images and files, make sure you go back to the beginning of time (or at least to a date when you know it worked).
