Failing Map Compare 101 why no red circle ? [closed]

Operating with the latest Windows d-load whatever that is.. I'm trying to circle the caches found in Map Compare . I "CLICKED " on the appropriate funny lines ICON and got the lg + on the screen and was able to move it around but not able to draw a red circle around the caches. HELP...PLEASE. This is my 1st attempt..and needless to say I am totally puzzled what to do to fix it???  Thanks in advance.
