Stats shows elevation of anchor coordinates of ?

Question

Hi all
I solved a mystery cache with an anchor elevation over 2600m
The final actually is placed at something over 2300m.
The staistics shows anchor elevation.

Is there any way to set the elevation to the correct value using corrected coordinates?
Is there to much spoiler risk to set the value to the final-value when logged as found?

Please check if the cache is in the official ignore list.

If listed in the ignore list of traveling caches so it should not be taken in the account, if you check on your statistics page under Settings the checkbox "Use official ignore list for traveling geocaches". you can activate or non activate and check if this changes the elavation.

The official ignore list is for caches that have completely bogus coordinates (usually traveling and some old virtuals). This is not what the ignore list should be used for.

The project-gc always shows the original coordinates for all the statistics, since it is the only public information that the statistics can be based on without the threat of leaking some of the information and making cache owners angry/violating the geocaching rules/misusing the changed coordinates of other users. This is explained in FAQ that project-gc does not do any manual corrections neither.

There is no way around this. You found a cache with original coordinates in 2600 meters and thats it (even though the final was elsewehere). Next time, you will fine other traditional cache even higher and the problem will be solved.

I did not yet find this passus about mysteries and corrected coordinates on the
FAQ - did I overread it? There is something about wrong data, OK. But how could I know if data is wrong or not used because of reasons.

But yes, I agree there might be a spoiler issue with this
