In the past I was able to pull up a map with a display of all caches ever hidden in a specific area.  I've lost the info on how to do that.  Can anyone help me with that please?

Possibly using the map compare function (under tools tab) - though if there are over 10000 caches listed it will restrict the search

Hello,

I am using this feature: https://project-gc.com/Statistics/TopLoggedCaches
- choose your nick and cache location
You can also use filter to more specify you need to find:
- hidden date from - to
- hide owned, found
- hide archived, disabled, premium
- cache type, size, DT...
- etc.
Then you can use Create map button, choose amount of geocaches in map. That's all. You can also use Top favorites for example to order geocaches with most FP instead of Top loggeg caches.

Hello, I can recommend this tool: https://project-gc.com/Tools/MapCompare

Add your name and some other person with the low or none founds in required area. Add a location. You can search caches that both users have not found yet, hide owned caches and add some filters like disabled and archived caches too.

I think that this mentioned tool: https://project-gc.com/Statistics/TopLoggedCaches is only to show on map the caches you already found, but it can not help you if you want to search caches you haven't found yet.

As already answered, the MapCompare Tool will solve your Issue.

Here is a direct link for: USA / Michigan / center at GC5ZBN3 / show all including archived and disabled:

https://project-gc.com/Tools/MapCompare?profile_name=project-gc.com&country=United+States&region=Michigan&nonefound=on&location=++N+42%C2%B0+02.474+W+084%C2%B0+25.831+&max_distance=10&showdisabled=on&showarchived=on&submit=Filter

Just click on it and play around with the filter settings.

In europe we use the unit kilometer, I set it to 10 kilometers. Just use a miles radius you prefer for your specific area.
As Deepdiggingmole already mentioned there is a limit of 10000 caches, with the "radius filter" that could be solved.

Of course you can also use other filters like "don't show Earthcaches" or "only show Multi-Caches" to reduce number.

As the state is filtered, take a careful look on it, when you are near the boards of states (e.g. Indiana / Michigan / ...) => When state is selected, only that states' caches will be shown!

Of course you can select a center (like N 42° 02.400 W 084° 25.800) without a state selected:

https://project-gc.com/Tools/MapCompare?profile_name=project-gc.com&country=United+States&nonefound=on&location=++N+42%C2%B0+02.474+W+084%C2%B0+25.831+&max_distance=40&showdisabled=on&showarchived=on&submit=Filter

Sorry for possible spelling- or grammatical-errors.
