I have found a challenge but didn't meet the requirements yet back then, so I placed a Write Note for the time being. The challenge unfortunately got archived, but the CO also requested the cache to be LOCKED. I have no idea as of why you would do this, but the CO stated in the archive log that from that day onwards, no one was allowed to log that cache anymore, even if they had found it before but didn't meet the requirements yet, like I had. This sucks a lot because I cannot edit or remove my Write Note log, so this cache is now 'stuck' on my Challenge Tab in my profile stats. Is there a way to remove this cache from the stats?

(To be clear: I cannot tag the log with [NOT-SIGNED] since I cannot add/edit any logs to this cache)

You need to contact your reviewer or somebody who has more super-powers than normal geocaching players to delete or edit this log for you. As you can not modify this log, neither the cache owner can do this, neither anyone from Project-GC. And if it is valid challenge cache with some past finds, it can not even be excluded as an exception from PGC side.

Thanks, that would have been (and now will be) my next step. Just wanted to check if there was any way to manually remove this challenge from my stats in PGC.
At this moment, there is no simple way how to handle this if it is valid challenge. If this would be more common, the locked caches could be ignored in this list, but I am not aware that this would be in place so reviewer is your best bet, I believe.
