New Cache Notifier email very late

Question

I created a new cache notifier to get an email when a new cache has been published within a certain distance near my home coordinates.   I received the new cache published email from geocaching.com at 8:06am just moments after the cache was published.  I did not receive the ProjectGC email notification until almost 14 hours later at 10:02pm.  Any ideas as to why the long delay? Is there a setting in my profile I need to adjust?

I would say this is expected as described in the page https://project-gc.com/User/NewCacheNotifiers The delay of the notification depends on the country support. I think there is certainly good in Sweden and I contribute updates for Czechia, but elsewhere it might really take several hours to notice a new cache.

Instant notifications are working fine for me with no delays from PGC.  Once I 'unchecked the option to get a daily digest instead of instant notifications' there have been no delays.

Try unchecking 'Option (default) to get a daily digest instead of instant notifications?'  I set it up to test it but I won't know until a new hide is published by geocaching.com.

Update:

OK, I just saw 2 new caches publish and both PGC and geocaching.com notified me with no delays.

Hm, strange. Maybe monitor it for the next couple of notifications? If it keeps coming late, open a support/bug ticket.

In my experience (Germany), the PGC notifications are coming almost instantly after those from geocaching.com, maximum 5 minutes later. I never had really late notifications, and I have everything set to default (except unchecking "daily digest"), well, there is not much to configure, anyways.
