More than once a week week I get an email 'Project-GC Edited logs notifier' with notifications of very old logs. Today there would be 18 "edited logs", The original logs were all from 2017, 2018 and one 2019.

I still have the original logs and I cannot find any difference between the original log and the edited log.

Is there an over-active script, generating these notifiers?

If the username either before or after the edit is something with "OPTOUT", then that's the reason. That means that this is a user that has activated a setting on geocaching.com that prevents all third-party applications (like Project-GC) from accessing their information. This means that we can't see their logs, i.e. there appears to be a change. On the web, you can see the log text for these users.

This is not the issue. Yes, some usernames start with OPTOUT, but not all of them. There are also normal team names. And the log text is exactly the same as the original text.
If the user is turning this option off, you will get the same effect but then their real username will be visible.
