I want to display my challenge status on my statistics page. Are the instructions below the applicable ones? If not, which are? And, if so, where do I find my "cache description" to link to?

 

How do I link to a challenge checker?

Project-GC provides three different ways to link to a challenge checker. You can find them all from the checker page by clicking the Link button. From there you will see both how they appear on the cache page, and the HTML you need to copy/paste into your cache description. These three variants are the only variants that are approved to use. We strongly suggest that you use the last image-link.

The instructions are designed for challenge cache owners.  Based on your first sentence, "I want to display my challenge status on my statistics page" it appears that you are looking for something else.  When I reviewed your geocaching.com statistics, you already have your PGC statistics displaying there.  Can you confirm if my assessment is correct and if not please provide further clarification.

where do I find my "cache description" to link to?
This refers to the description section (the main body) of a cache page that you own -  the link you have given refers to adding a 'challenge checker' to a cache page that you own - but this can only be on a challenge cache which has requirements for qualification and the checker is a way to confirm qualification.
Based on your first statement this link is not applicable to what you are requesting.
You need to clarify 'my challenge status'
and which 'statistics page' you are refering to
