For the continents challenges, what continent is Turkey and Russia considered to be in?  Europe or Asia (or maybe both?)

well, I just looked at the source code for one of the checkers, and I believe Russia = Europe and Turkey = Asia.  and it doesn't matter where in each country you found the cache.   The east coast of Russia near Japan would still be Europe, and the westernmost part of Turkey actually in Europe would still be considered Asia.

I think both countries count for both continents, regardless of where the actual find was.

Depends on the checker. If this is a newer challenge (published 2016 or later) the list of the countries for each continent should be in the cache description, if it's an older challenge it's usually there you find the info to. The checker should of course match the challenge on the cache page.

If it's for a unpublished challenge then it depends on the script, I would assume the FAQ-post as the base line and be clear with any modifications needed.
