removing a cancelled event from stats

Question

I thought this had been asked before but can't find it in a search - so apologies if this is repetition.

Under the 'Hides' tab 
I have a cancelled event showing on my 'owned caches statistics'
Though it doesn't get counted on the line 'events hosted'
it does get counted in ...

'Owned'
'Most southerly cache hidden'
'Most Easterly cache hidden' 

and then in the list of caches headed 'Logs received' 

Though I haven't dug deeper it may be counted in some of the other stats below that too 

Is there a way of removing this from these stats completely ?

The only way to remove it is to ask a reviewer to retract it for you, then Project-GC doesn't have access to the event anymore. This assumes there are no logs on the event because only caches without found/attended logs can be retracted now.
