This way this normally works is that the statistics page for a user is refreshed when it is requested and the previous version of the page is older than the time limit for that user (i.e. one day for paid members of Project-GC and a week for others).
However, if the user is inactive, it may be that Project-GC doesn't even have up-to-date information for that user at hand. In that case, the stats are refreshed from the information that we have (which is why Pleu reports recent stats in the other post here) and the user is scheduled for a refresh. The reason things are done this way is that a full refresh of the user may take longer than what is reasonable to regenerate a page.
