Found/discovered trackable number not going up

I’ve discovered approximately three trackables within the past week.  However, despite me logging them, my project-GC stat number seems to not be reflecting those finds.  It’s stuck at 300 perpetually.  I tried to send an email for support through project-GC but the captcha on the page just keeps generating new codes for me to type in the box and the send button does nothing.

I suspect that you are discovering trackables that you have already previously discovered. In that case, your stats on Project-GC won't increase.

As for the captcha just updating, that means that you are entering the wrong answer. Note that this particular captcha wants you to do trivial math. If it says 3+4, the answer is 7, not 3+4.
