Project GC & Geocaching.com find Count mismatch between [closed]

Project GC shows 12000 where Geocaching.com say 11,999. Not sure why this mismatch is happening. I have discovered that Project GC is reporting 1844 unknown (mystery) cache type finds when I only have 1843.

Did you (semi)recently get a log deleted? If so, it could be that Project-GC hasn't detected that yet while geocaching.com gets updated immediately.

I have received no notice that a log was deleted. I may know what the problem is. Let me wait a day or two for ProjectGC to update.
