Personally I don't think that would encourage positive things for the game, quite the opposite actually.

Since when do statistics influence the game positively in any way? Statistics have nothing whatsoever to do with the quality of the game....

@Maxipimpf In my opinion most statistics are neutral, some are likely to have a positive impact. A few have a very negative impact. Adding things that you know from the start belongs to the last category doesn't seem responsible.

To expand on Pleu's argument, It would encourage the placement of caches just to get the statistic. And that might mean low quality caches. Yes, I know, there are other cache owner stats that are like this - the different types and sizes in the belt system, for example. It's a fine line. Generally I am with Pleu - Avoid creating more cache owner stats.
